Just a note: When I enter the shortcode menu, I still get an announcement that I need to install Custom Content Portfolio.

I found some screenshots and a video at the Justin Tadlock site. Thank for your help.

If our ministry could afford to spend money I would be using Divi 2.0. I will pound around with it for a while and see what happens. This is certainly fair since I only paid 15.00. I do not expect you to give away all of your knowledge about this for that.

That is fine. I will find the necessary codes to adjust. I cannot write code but I have used plenty of open-source products to be used to this process.

You did answer my question – everything I need is in the style.css

I am very happy with my choice and with your service!

Thanks for all of your help with this learning curve…

I have solved all of these issues except there is still a space between the header and the slider.

    Please assist with that issue.

    Thanks

Thanks for the info. I followed the instructions exactly as the video gave them. After creating the test page and following the steps to create the slider (which is relatively easy) I selected “preview”, and saw the slider in action.

The problem is that the slider does not show up on the front page.

    This is the site: https://www.familyhealth360.com/
    THis is the slider: https://www.familyhealth360.com/?page_id=194

Remember: There is no toggle under THEME OPTIONS to turn on the slider.

How do I tell the theme to place the slider on the front page?

No problem. I am trying some other themes to see if any of them will provide the look and functions that I need.
