how add image in Sidebars
Hi Aras,
you cant add image in the sidebar, what you see on the right side are just latest articles from some categories, images are pulled from posts automatically, so make sure you have them, and they’ll show up.
Many users are also confused how to add image in the slider, you should first select category which you want to slide through theme options, and then under post just type slide in the custom field and leave link to the image! Its the same for all our themes!

As a beginner I would like some more detailed help as to:
- how to get posts in the Slider and
- how and wehe to get the background picture defined and set.
I don’t see any referrence to the Slider in the Theme settings.
I don’t see where in a post (story) I can define the post to be incorporated in the Slider.

Hi Mart, all comments ended up in spam, so sorry cause of late response.
To have an images in the slider, you just add a custom field, type slide (lowercase) and leave link to the image. Check this: http://www.simplewpthemes.com/howtoslide.png
But, first of first, you should select sliding category via theme options and number of slides.
This is the most elegant, beautiful and authoritative theme I’ve seen.

can I use this slider, in another theme?. I mean, the “Tribune magazine” slider, in the “PaganiTribune 1.0″ Slider.
The reason, is that I just want to slide different categories, and the Pagani let me do it just with one cat.

Yes, there’s a workaround for that, make some “featured” category, and all posts from different categories put in that category too. And then just select that “featured” category in swt theme options to slide. Thats it!

No, that’s it. If it’s not working, category name could be the problem, so make sure you’re using one word, and english chars only.
Hi there.
I’m trying to setup this theme correctly, and I figure it out how to make appear the pictures for “Featured Category” (so, this is just adding to the post the picture at first), but when trying to do the same for the slide is when It does not work.
So, for slide picture: what I see above is a bit confusing.
I have selected 3 “Featured Slide panel” panels from one category selected, so this is 3 post showing, but not sure how to get a picture for each separately. If I do what I see above (here in this forum) it just works one picture for all the 3 panels, and I want a picture in each panel.
I wonder as well if these 3 panels are changing on time and if there was possible to make them auto rotate like a show.
Any help would be great in here.

OK. I’ve got it.
What you have to do is to put picture url in value into any post you write as well you put the picture into the post as well, this way it appears. Of course, only into the category you have choosed to use for slide.
